Here’s a short summary of the skincare products I finished up in March.
Fig Cleansing Balm – This balm did the job of removing impurities from my skin, but it has fragrance in the ingredients list and the smell wasn’t great to me. For $30, I expected more. It wasn’t better than The Ordinary’s balm and it was on par with the balm from Good Molecules. I did finish the jar, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
Niacinamide Brightening Toner – I think this toner is good, but this is my third bottle and I’m interested in trying something different. Maybe taking a break from this toner might make me appreciate it more, that way I’ll know for sure it was doing more work at brightening than other products in my routine.
Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream – I bought this around the same time I purchased the moisturizer from Kinship, but it arrived super late due to Covid. By the time I received it, I had already committed to Supermellow, so I ended up using this as a hand lotion. It kept my hands moisturized and I’m still interested in what it could do on my face. It probably wouldn’t work during colder months, but could be perfect for the summer.
I also finished the Mist Toner from Pyungkang Yul, the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum sample from Glow Recipe and another tube of Self-Reflect sunscreen from Kinship. I ordered the large bottle of the sunscreen, but I don’t plan on repurchasing the other two.
